Warranty and Returns:

Outdoor Fire Designs warrants our products to be free from defects in manufacturing for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase, except for Automated Tiki Torches and Remote Fire Module (AWEIS-1) and (AWEIS-2) which are warranted for 1 year. Should you have a warranty issue, please contact techsupport@outdoorfiredesigns.com for a return authorization number (RA). The RA number will be emailed or faxed to you along with the address to ship the products too. The RA number must be clearly marked on all packages shipped to us. No returns will be accepted without a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package.Packages can not be opened due to tampering. There will be no returns on custom orders, fire/water bowls, concrete bowls, copper bowls, stainless steel bowls, bamboo poles or propane tanks that the seal has been broken. All packages and products must be shipped prepaid to the address provided with your return authorization. Any package returned without an RA number clearly marked on each package or opened packages will be voided from warranty. The cost of the refused shipment will not be paid by Outdoor Fire Designs. The returned product will be inspected, if Outdoor Fire Designs determines the product is defective it will be replaced or repaired at the sole discretion of Outdoor Fire Designs. 

Returns:

Unused Items in their original unopened packaging can be returned for refund or credit within 30 days of the receipt of goods.
Gas products that have been fired CANNOT be returned! This includes all fire rings, fire on water manifolds, AWEIS, Gas Torches, and any other product or appliance that can burn natural gas, liquid propane, lamp oil, etc.
Outdoor Fire Designs will subject up to a 25% re-stocking fee of the retail cost (MSRP). There may also be an assesment charge of a $25 cancellation fee. Orders to be returned must be returned in the original shipping container without the container being opened due to tampering with products, electrical, valves, gas connections sealing of units, AWEIS-1 & AWEIS-2. Returns will be voided if shipping container is open. Customer is responsible for all return shipping cost to original shipping location. As per above there is absolutely no returns or refunds on custom orders and bamboo poles! Custom orders include all copper or stainless steel pots, all fire/water bowls and concrete bowls 48" in diameter and larger, custom made burner bars, custom made fire on water manifolds, or any other product that is made to order.

Custom Design Fire Features:

Custom design Fire Features are made at the customers risk. This includes all gas torches, torch modules, and AWEIS systems that a customer requests Outdoor Fire Designs to modify the flame or create a custom configuration. This also includes as stated above copper or stainless steel made to order pots, concrete bowls 48" or larger and any concrete bowl with customer specified modifications, custom made burner bars, custom made fire pans and fire on water manifolds. There is absolutely no returns or refunds on these products.

Shipping and Freight Disclaimer:

Count, Open & Inspect entire contents BEFORE signing for the shipment! If the boxes look damaged, note damaged items and/or shortages on the delivery receipt. REFUSE any damaged goods. Failure to note damages/shortages at the time of delivery releases Outdoor Fire Designs from all liability; therefore, you are responsible for any replacement costs. A notation of “Subject to Inspection” or “Possible Damage” on the delivery receipt is not acceptableSpecific notation of damage to the carton and product is required. If you signed for the carton without notating any damage on the delivery receipt you have signed the goods as “Free and Clear.” A notation of “Subject to Inspection” or “Possible Damage” on the delivery receipt is not acceptable and is viewed the same as if it were signed clear. If damage is not specifically notated on the delivery receipt, the delivering freight line will not accept responsibility for the damage. That means that we will not be reimbursed for the damaged merchandise and freight charges; therefore, we cannot provide replacements to you free of charge. You will be responsible for any replacement costs.

THERE ARE TWO CATEGORIES OF FREIGHT DAMAGE

NOTATED DAMAGE – Damages are notated when the damage is specifically written on the delivery receipt and/or are refused. Outdoor Fire Designs, must be notified of the damage and/or refusal as soon as possible so that we may issue you a replacement and file a damage claim with the freight company. If the driver did not remove the goods at the time of delivery, you must retain the product and all of the packaging including the carton and any foam it contained. The freight company may or may not come back to inspect and remove the merchandise.  If they do not remove the product then wait until we authorize you to dispose of it.

CONCEALED DAMAGE – Damage that is found after the driver has left and was not notated on the delivery receipt is concealed damage. Replacement or repair costs will apply on all concealed damages.  It is your responsibility to inspect the entire shipment before the driver leaves. Failure to do so releases Outdoor Fire Designs, from all liability. If concealed damaged is discovered Outdoor Fire Designs, must be notified and supplied with photos within 24 hours(excluding weekends). We require that all original packaging materials including the carton and any foam contained therein be retained until we advise you then it may be discarded.  You are required to take photographs of the outer and inner packaging as well as the damaged product. Time is of the essence, proof of damage must be received ASAP. We will ship a replacement as soon as possible at cost to you. 

All freight companies allow a specific amount of time for you to inspect your shipment before the driver leaves. The time limits are based on the total weight of your shipment. If the driver refuses to wait, then you must call Outdoor Fire Designs immediately and contact your local delivering terminal.

Damages that occur in transit are unfortunate and we do sincerely apologize. Our guidelines are in place to protect everyone involved and help to expedite the process of sending replacements as quickly as possible.

Installation:

Outdoor Fire Designs: will provide installation instructions when possible for our product(s). Install instructions can be down loaded from our home page of our web site under (Important Links) PDF files. Installation of the product(s) are to be done by qualified, licensed, electricians, gas fitters etc… It is your responsibility to meet and comply with your State’s licensing and contracting requirements and regulations of installation of products provided by Outdoor Fire Designs. Failure to do so may result in voided manufactures terms, fines and penalties from the state you are installing product(s) in. Outdoor Fire Designs will not be held responsible for any failure or damage(s) or personal damage due from improper or unlicensed installation of product(s) provided by Outdoor Fire Designs. Any tampering or altering of products provided by Outdoor fire Designs will be voided emidietly and warranty cancelled including returns.

Payments:

Outdoor Fire Designs: All payments for orders are to be cleared funds prior to shipping of any product(s). All time frames for shipping are projected dates only. Generally we offer a (3) business day delivery but some orders could be (5) business days or more. Custom orders can take up to 4-6 weeks. All special / custom orders are based on supply and demand, this would include, concrete bowls, copper bowls, stainless steels bowls, tiki torches, remote controlled units, (AWEIS-1) (AWEIS-2) and Faux Bamboo products. Delivery dates can fluctuate due to frieght companies pick-up and transportations scheduals. Outdoor Fire Designs does not guarantee any delivery dates. Outdoor Fire Designs will not be held responsible in any way due to late delivery of product(s) or loss of product(s) made between the frieght company and Outdoor Fire Designs. Purchasing customer will accept the cost of return shipping to manufacturer (Outdoor Fire Designs) in the event of any return product under returned products terms & condition metioned with-in.

Certifications/Inspections

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to know and meet any local, county, or state codes and inspection requirements for the installation of fire features and the use of our products. We will assist in any way we can but the cost and procedure to meet those requirements is soley the responsibility of the customer. Basically, it is the customers responsibility to make sure you have the proper gas flow available, and can follow inspection requirements for your area.
Since custom outdoor fire features is a relatively new concept, most local governments have no or very vague codes for installation requirements. We have found that in most cases the municipalities follow the handbook NFPA 58(liquified petroleum gas code) where they do not have a specific code pertaining to outdoor fire features.

Litigation:

Any legal disputes are to be addressed in the jurisdiction of Spokane, Washington for adjudication of any disputes and / or claims between the customer and Outdoor Fire Designs. Customer will pay for any and all legal cost incured through arbortration. It is Outdoor Fire Designs’ interest to meet specific requirements to our customer, Vendor, Dealer, or contractor. We value your business and strive to maintain a professional relationship and look forward to many years of continuing business.The terms and conditions herein may be altered from time to time by governing Outdoor Life is Fun, Inc. In the event this occurs we will provide an updated notice on our web site under warranty's.
